Say you’re in the mood for the type of modern Spanish meal that you are used to eating in Barcelona, but you happen to be located in Manhattan when the urge comes upon you. Well head on over to Jesus Nunes’s lively restaurant on the Upper West Side where the food will make you feel you are dining on the Avenue Diagonale instead of 69th StreetWe have yet to hear a report of this restaurant from someone who didn’t enjoy it. It doesn’t pretend to be an important restaurant – just good food and a fun atmosphere in a room filled with Euro-foodies. The dish that usually causes the biggest stir is falafal balls covered with truffle earth but you can also enjoy the “Not Your Average Egg” served with a seasonal vegetable stew.
