What with operating the popular No 9 Park (Top 100 U.S. restaurant), B & G Oysters (Top 25 Seafood & Steak) and the popular Butcher Shop (missed the Top 25 Bistros & Trattorias by a whisker), Barbara Lynch decided she needed a fine dining venue as well. Set in an old warehouse building in Boston’s up and coming Fort Point neighborhood, executive chef Colin Lynch offers dishes like a warm cauliflower salad with vadouvan , almond and grapes, local hake with English peas , asparagus and truffle and Grimaud Farm duck with red currants, baby beet and Sauce Poivrade. And one of the best parts of the experience is the ability have a nightcap at Drink, Lynch’s terrific cocktail bar, which is downstairs from the restaurant. |
