Krista Kranyak was hoping the Cambridge dining community would enjoy her cooking as much as the regulars who frequented her Jamaica Plain original. Well, she guessed right. Now diners can enjoy the same delicious food in two locations, each featuring its own discrete offerings. The menu here is a quirky mix of market cuisine and Mediterranean fare, like crispy bluefish cakes with marinated peppers and a sumac-yogurt sauce or Gianonne chicken à la mattone with smoked bacon and green garlic-vadouvan butter. Even simple dishes like a salad of Siena Farms baby red romaine with French feta, English peas, Breakfast radish, Persian cucumber and sherry vinaigrette are "bursting with flavor." One reviewer described the food as "moderately priced and delicious," while another praised Ten Tables for providing "the best service in Boston." |
