With Auhourd’ Hui now closed, Frank MvClelland’s restaurant is the last remaining bastion of formal French dining in Boston. The classic French cuisine features starters like a leek and potato soup with summer truffles and sautéed shrimp, along with entrées like smoked organic chicken or beef tenderloin that has been poached in port wine and is served with bone marrow. After years in an intimate town house, the restaurant moved to a new location on Boylston Street next to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel.
