This restaurant located in a popular gourmet store only has one table - for 8 to 12 people - and it books up a year in advance. You read that correctly. Every morning at 7:00 a.m., they take reservations for exactly one year from that date. What's the fuss about? Well, this is where the owners of the popular Django decamped to, and each night one lucky table of diners gets to enjoy "the best food in the Philly region." The menus are based on the bounty of the day's market, like a sweet corn tart or Amish pasture chicken with chicken chorizo mole and toasted almonds. Everyone praises the food, but the difficulty in getting a reservation creeps into every comment, from "Hands-down the best meal in the city . . . there's a reason people wait a year for reservation" to "they do an excellent job, but is it worth waiting a year for a reservation? Hell no."
