In a city where dining rooms are filled with children swarming around theme park characters, it wouldn't seem that many people would be willing to pay $125 a person for dinner. But the folks at Disney believed that such a market did in fact exist, and they created the V & A to cater to that clientele. From white truffles to Maine lobster to wild turbot to Kobe beef, you will have difficulty avoiding the luxury ingredients that abound on Scott Hunnel's menu (and why not at these prices?). Still, one reviewer who praised the food and wine pairings said, "It's hard to shake the fact that you're at Disney World," while another suggested leaving the kids with a sitter, saying, "At these prices Mickey and Minnie better be watching the kids." |
