We don't know how Nobu Matsuhisa does it. He operates 27 restaurants around the world, and we have yet to find one that we can't recommend. His Aspen outpost is no different, and due to the miracle of overnight shipping, all of his signature treats, like ankimo p√¢té with caviar, popcorn rock shrimp and lobster with wasabi pepper, are on hand. "Shockingly good in a town full of inedible food" was a typical comment, although we did get a few complaints about "less than stellar service," which is to be expected during high season in a ski resort. |
