Start off with a raw bar offering all sorts of local oysters, clams and New Bedford scallops, followed by ribs, pork and beef brisket that have been barbecued over an oak pit. Top things off with mains like Asian chile-blackened bluefish or a Cuban-style spit-roasted pork chop with mango mojo. There's a small but quirky wine list, or you can imbibe house-styled cocktails that include the Martini from Hell (vodka spiked with Scotch Bonnet peppers) and the Erupting Flaming Volcano (gin, brandy and five different types of rum). The place doesn't serve dessert, but fortunately, you can cool down with ice cream at Christina's just down the block.
