Nick Burki and Chris Hatleli do such a good job with the French fare at this restaurant in Milwaukee's historic Third Ward that we didn't find a single reviewer who complained that Sandy D'Amato had sold his interest in the restaurant. The fare includes flatbreads with various toppings, like fennel sausage with roasted mushrooms and Asiago cheese, as well as larger plates like trout à la Grenobloise with watercress and glazed radishes and roast chicken. "A nice Wisconsin version of a French brasserie," it's one of the few quality restaurants in town that is open for lunch.
