For years, Anita Lo's mix of French, Asian and Mediterranean cuisines kept this intimate dining room filled. But in 2009, it was destroyed in a fire. Undeterred, Lo rebuilt her beloved restaurant, and now it's back to one of the best spots to dine in the city. Lo's menu still offers her signature dish, Shanghai soup dumplings stuffed with seared foie gras, along with entrées that include skate with Korean flavors or filet of beef with a mustard seed crust. A unique wine list assembled by Roger Dagorn, exclusively featuring the labels of female winemakers, complements the cuisine. The dining room is small and intimate; one reviewer told us, "I always recommend Annisa to out-of-town guests who are looking for a calm and civilized dining experience."
