Popular with local Chinese families as well as tourists, this classic Cantonese restaurant is considered by more than one of our reviewers to have "the best food in Chinatown." It's a bit more upscale than other choices in the neighborhood, even more so if you eat in the upstairs dining room, where a myriad of dishes will be served on a tablecloth. But the food is so tasty that one reviewer told us, "I don't care which room I eat in, as long as I eat." It's especially popular during Dungeness crab season (roughly from mid-November through March), when you will see the crustacean done up in a variety of styles (the universal favorite is fried with salt and pepper).
