While reviewers recommend this Midtown offering from David Chang, it hasn't attracted the same sort of raves as his other restaurants (the various Momofukus) have. It's a little surprising, since the super-talented Tien Ho runs the kitchen, and his modern spin on Vietnamese cuisine results in offerings like Niman Ranch beef tartare with soy, scallion and mint or Eden Brook trout served with sunchoke, cashews and fish sauce. And as an added bonus you get to finish off your meal by enjoying one of Christina Tosi’s delicious cookies from the small Milk Bar that is located in the entry lobby.
