Zak Pelaccio spent part of his youth in Malaysia, and this restaurant is his homage to that country's cuisine. The Southeast Asian delights include pork belly and beef sliders, spicy barbecue ribs, Lo Si Fun (rice noodles with Chinese sausage and shitake mushrooms), chicken laksa and "chili crabs - yum!" as one eloquent reviewer put it. The place is small, cramped and noisy, as well as super-popular, so be prepared for a significant wait for a table on a weekend night - though, in order to ease the load, they opened a branch on the Upper West Side in 2009.
