When this restaurant owned by the Babbo team and Lidia Bastianich first opened in 2005, most of the reviews we collected were highly negative. But over time, the talented Mark Ladner, who wowed diners when he was at Lupa, has figured out how to make his customers. Billed as haute Italian cuisine, the menu includes dishes like orecchiette with lamb neck sausage, cherry peppers and broccoli rabe, along with wood-grilled lobster with gnocchetti sardi. Some reviewers claim they like the food at the front room enoteca even better than the food in the main dining room.
