With a menu filled with dishes like trofie nero with a Ligurian crustacean ragoût made with seppia, scallops and spiced mollica, an appetizer of blue crab, avocado, grapefruit, tarragon, crispy farinata, and butter poached Nova Scotia lobster, root vegetable fondant and Chateau-Chalon sauce, Michael White’s had is readily apparent in the food. Along with the tasty food, Ai Fiori is a very adult restaurant, which is sort of anachronistic in a day and age where bowls of pasta are often served to a soundtrack of blaring music, with comfortable tables and chairs that are set a good distance apart from each other. No wonder it is always filled with tables of business diners, or couples engaged in an evening of romance which includes a tasty dinner.
