While Thomas Keller's attention to detail and commitment to excellence are clearly in evidence at this French bistro, diners expecting something like "French Laundry light" are barking up the wrong tree. Instead, you will find an excellent raw bar and user-friendly bistro cuisine, like pan-seared tuna with ratatouille and roast chicken with red rice and lardons, served by a friendly staff in a lively enviroment. "Solid food with excellent ingredients; they stick to the middle road, but execution is flawless" is the comment that describes it best. One of the few good places for a casual meal on the Strip. |
