We were surprised to see a lack of a consensus about this casual sister of the famous northern Italian restaurant. What could be bad about simple fare like pizzas, pastas, salads and a half-dozen entrées, including olive-oil-poached tuna with a white bean aioli from the Spiaggia kitchen? Yet while some reviewers raved, "You get to eat some of the same food that they serve next door while wearing jeans," others dismissed it as a "poor, down-market version of the original with a pompous staff." |
