Few Boston restaurants caught on with local diners as quickly as this South End tapas bar co-owned by Ken Oringer of Uni and Clio fame, and Jamie Bissonnette. The Spanish-style fare ranges from small plates like dates stuffed with serrano ham and blue cheese, cauliflower sautéed with chorizo or a bocadillo of uni to larger plates (served in the evenings) like paella or short ribs cooked with prunes. The "extensive list of tasty cocktails, wines and beers" makes the experience "loud, lively and fun." The concept was so successful that they recently opened a location in Manhattan.
