RESTAURANT REVIEW
If eating hearty food (everything is cooked in either a smoker or a wood-burning oven) in a rustic atmosphere (axes and tree stumps make up part of the décor) is your thing, Jason French’s restaurant is right up your alley. French serves up dishes like smoked pork with creamed onions and a fried egg on brioche toast, or pastured lamb with puntarella, sprouting broccoli, green olives and persillade. Or maybe you would like a nice, light Sunday brunch of braised lamb breast with garlic-stewed rabes and fermented chilies.
