There is one Austin publication that has voted Hut’s the city’s best hamburger for 26 years running. Given the current stature of Austin in the contemporary music world, it makes sense that Hut’s has named its burgers after rock ‘n roll legends. Among the different types of burgers you can enjoy are the Alan Freed (hickory sauce), the Wolfman Jack (sour cream, diced green chilis, Jack cheese and bacon) and the All American Buddy Holly (onions, pickles, mayo, mustard, lettuce and American cheese. It’s an Austin legend that attracts comments like, “I never miss having a meal there when I visit Austin.”
