This is probably the least well known of the big-three fried clam restaurants located on Cape Ann, but what Farnham's lacks in renown,it makes up for with its location on an extension of Essex Bay. This setting means when the weather is good, you can eat your whole clam bellies and fried "scahlops" on a picnic bench overlooking the water. On days when it's too cold to eat in the open air, you can dine inside in a roadhouse-style dining room.
