More than one reviewer told us, "I didn't like barbecue until I had it at 17th Street Bar & Grill," which isn't all that surprising given that "the legendary Mike Mills" has won just about every barbecue award in the country. Although Mills is famous for his ribs, the menu offers a variety of smoked meats, ranging from brisket to links to a pork steak. The sides garnered less enthusiasm, save for the "excellent deep-fried pickles," and the banana pudding served in a mason jar was described by one reviewer as "a standout."
