Though it serves typical diner fare, like a tuna melt and a burger and fries, what makes this diner atypical is a menu that also features local favorites like a lobster roll, fried clam bellies and such daily specials as a New England boiled platter or a Yankee pot roast. Though it's not cheap (especially for the diner portion of the menu), the wait for a table can be lengthy during the tourist season.
