The Kotlick family has been frying and smoking fish at this odd little shack on the fringes of the South Side for the past 62 years. Those who prefer their seafood fried can choose among shrimps, catfish, scallops, oysters and smelts, while chubs, salmon, shrimp and trout are all smoked on the premises. The unusual location in a deserted industrial area makes it a hassle to get to, but one reviewer who made the effort called it "a real gem, especially for the hot smoked shrimps."
