This unusual coffee shop, which exclusively offers seating at a U-shaped counter, is as close to classic Americana as it gets. The steak burger has been on the menu since 1927, and the hickory burger has been in service since 1945. The only other items available are sandwiches featuring Southern baked ham, tuna and egg salad, and you can end your meal with a slice of "delicious" apple, cream or pecan pie. The place is very popular, so you can "expect to wait" 10 or so minutes for a stool.
